If you are not ready to be married at the time reserved for you, your wedding will be rescheduled. The rescheduling of a wedding may take place up to 365 days from the originally scheduled date.
WEDDING CERTIFICATE
To obtain a marriage certificate you may purchase one from the government. However, you cannot apply for the certificate until at least 90 days after your ceremony date. When you apply for the license, make sure you also ask for an application form for a "Certificate of Marriage" and get them to explain the process to you.
PLANNING MEETING
It is best to wait until you have the marriage license in hand before contacting your officiant to set up a planning meeting. In the meantime if you have issues or questions at any time prior to the planning meeting your officiant will be pleased to help you find your answers if you phone or email.
CEREMONY/VOWS
If you are making any changes to the ceremony, your officiant will want you to email her/him the final draft as you want it conducted. Your officiant will need this at least 5 days prior to your ceremony date. Due to Fire regulations NO CANDLES are permitted. The sand ceremony is a nice alternative
***PLEASE NOTE: Any change in time/date/place should first be cleared with our office. Your officiant may already be booked for another wedding and unable to meet your needs.
